I have been a pharmacist for 30 years and a shareholder in this pharmacy since 2003. Originally a West Coaster I came to Ashburton intending to stay for one year but never left! I have a passion for natural health and I have had great success using evidence-based products to help our customers.
I love to exercise and eat. Cooking is pivotal in my family and is so important for a healthy lifestyle and longevity. Ashburton has been a great place to bring up our children. Living in a small community enables someone in my position to really get to know my customers and I really value that.
I am a born and bred Ashburtonian having lived here all my life except when I did my pharmacy training at CIT in Wellington.
I have been a practising pharmacist since 1992 and spent most of my working career in retail pharmacy in Ashburton with time away when having a family and relieving/locum work.
Pharmacy is a lifelong career of learning and recently I have completed postgraduate pharmacy training at the University of Otago, Dunedin, via distance learning.
Pharmacy practice has changed immensely during my working life and I enjoy the new challenges and training available to pharmacists as well as building collaborative working relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.
I have been a shareholder in Ashburton Pharmacy since 2004.
All of my life I have been interested in the Beauty industry. After qualifying from ARA polytechnic as a Beauty Therapist, I have been working at Life Pharmacy Ashburton where I have been performing LED facials, Skincare facials and Laser Hair Removal.
I am excited to meet new clients, as I love helping them overcome their skin concerns, making their journey to achieve more beautiful, radiant, hair free skin, a positive, enjoyable and relaxing experience.
